If you know you will be late, call the office to notify staff of your late arrival. Please be aware if you wish to still attend your appointment, your visit will still end at the designated time were you to attend on time. If you are 15 minutes late or more and we have not heard from you, your appointment may be given to another client in need.

Cancellations must be made 24 hours in advance. In the event of an emergency, we consider each instance on a case-by-case basis. We will not charge a fee if documentation can be provided to attest to an emergency. We recommend that if possible you change your appointment rather than cancel.

Upon becoming a client with I-view you automatically receive calls to confirm your appointments at least 24 hours in advance of your appointment time. You may tell the caller at that time that you would like to have email, text, or call confirmations, or you may opt out of confirmations entirely, at your discretion. If privacy is a concern, please be sure to also notify the caller of any limitations related to leaving messages or sending mail.

New Patients & Treatment Process

We will not duplicate services, if you have an existing medication provider or therapist you must choose and attend only one of each. You may, however, maintain your existing therapist and continue medication management with I-view or maintain your existing medication management and seek therapy with I-view.

It is your decision to attend either Medication Management and Therapy, or just Medication Management, or just Therapy. All new clients must start with an assessment by a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner regardless of their decision to seek Medication Management or not.

We provide services in Spanish and therapy services in Mandarin. If you need translation or interpretive services, you must contact your insurance providers as there may be Language Line or TTY services available.

Cancellations must be made 24 hours in advance. In the event of an emergency, we consider each instance on a case-by-case basis. We will not charge a fee if documentation can be provided to attest to an emergency. We recommend that if possible you change your appointment rather than cancel.

Upon attending your first appointment, you sign consents for treatment and policies related to behavior expectations for new patients. We discharge clients upon completion of treatment, request for discharge, disrespectful/dangerous/non-compliant behavior, and repeated missed appointments.

Medication Management

Please always call the office or consult with your provider before stopping medication as each individual reacts differently to medication.

If you have any concerns about medication, please contact the office or your provider immediately and you will be directed what to do by a medical professional. If it is an emergency, please call 911.

Your best option to obtain information about your medication is to contact your insurance directly. Your insurance may require more information from a provider to cover certain medications or may only cover medication for a certain amount of time, it is your responsibility to explore what costs are associated with your prescription.

Urine screening is a standard procedure for all new incoming clients to get a baseline for their treatment. We believe that biological and medical data are important to establishing treatment.
